Luke: Part 3

I have had the pleasure of photographing Luke in three stages of his sweet little life. First, his maternity session and not long after that at his newborn session. I have to admit, I could hardly believe that this chunky monkey was the same tiny baby I'd seen just 6 months ago. Luke is such a sturdy, serious guy- absolutely handsome and sure to be a heartbreaker when he's older.

This is his favorite blankey... I loved it at his newborn session and used it in a few pictures. How cute that it turned out to be his special blanket... he loves to cover his head with it. So cute!

Great things come in small packages │ Jackson Ann Arbor Newborn Photographer

This is little Miss Ashley. Her maternity session was scheduled just in time... even though she wasn't due until May 23rd (which, coincidentally was also my due date with Hudson), she decided to make her appearance not even a week after her maternity session. In fact, I hadn't even finished proofing the maternity images when I received an email from her dad that she was on her way. Ashley arrived 8 weeks early and at a mere 3lbs (and some odd ounces...). She is quite a fighter and after 38 days in the NICU she came home. She is now 11 weeks old and a "hefty" 8lbs. She's absolutely adorable and was such a good little girl for her session!

I love capturing these little details... you have to love those little baby wrinkles.
and teeny tiny toes, of course!

Here's a sample of a 12x12 "Tiny Details" collage...

Nieces

I have such cute nieces... I love when I get the chance to photograph them. They have such striking blue eyes (how can I resist?). Not to mention, they're pretty easy targets. They, unlike my oldest son, don't run away from me when the camera comes out. No, in fact, they flock to me! Yes!
